The quartz ring is a ring-shaped sputtering target made primarily of high-purity silicon dioxide (SiO2), widely used in vacuum coating processes for optoelectronics, semiconductors, and optical films. Quartz rings feature high light transmittance, low thermal expansion coefficient, and excellent chemical stability, with a refractive index of 1.46 (at 500nm) and transparency from 200-9000nm.
